BIOKLASTR is an organization associating 20 companies, research institutes and non-profit organizations, which all promote the idea of cooperation and know-how sharing. We also carry out research projects in the field of power engineering and effective waste management.

R&D

Currently, BIOKLASTR organization disposes of a research laboratory providing equipment for high-qualified researchers. In the near future, we would like to carry out R&D of energy self-sufficiency, effective use of secondary sources and biomass. The laboratory is equipped by e.g. biomass and waste crusher, biomass and waste separation, thermal treatment and biogas analysis facilities.

Between 2011-2013, the project entitled KLASTR Biogas was carried out, in cooperation with organization members and Czech University of Agriculture. This project was aimed at effective generation of biogas. Our fully-equipped research laboratory in Červený Újezd, situated 30 km from Prague, belongs to project results. This laboratory serves for researchers as well as for biogas plant runners.

Cooperation we offer:

Professional studies and analyses of new waste treatment technology possibilities, development and adjustments of biogas generation process , energy economy, production and use of alternative fuels and biofuels

1

Analyses for effective running of biogas plants

2

Expert witness services in the field of biogas generation and use

3

Possible cooperation on implementation and realization of projects

4

Effectiveness of energy clusters in the Visegrad region

We collaborated on a joint project clusters Visegrad countries supported by the International Visegrad Fund – Effectiveness of energy clusters in the Visegrad region. The aim of project is despite the popularity of cluster concept and cluster policy, the real question is how to increase the effectiveness of clusters to realize their original function and goal to enhance the development of industries through transnational and trans-sectoral cooperation and support of compentencies. To achieve this, the proposal addresses the analysis of effectiness of clusters operating in the energy market within the Visegrad region and based ont he analysis it intends to define possible directions for policy makers int he field of cluster policies.
